Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan
Dear all
Diversity and inclusion is a key theme within the new RFU strategic plan and also formed a key element of the recent Governance action plan submitted to Sport England in response to the UK Sports Governance Code.
We are developing a Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan which aims to engage new communities and ensure that every part of our sport represents the diverse and inclusive nation we live in.
The plan has four key workstreams;
1. Employed workforce of the RFU – led by our HR Director Lucinda Pullinger
2. Playing, coaching, officiating and volunteering – led by our Rugby Development Director Steve Grainger
3. Leadership and Governance within the sport – led by Council member Genevieve Glover
4. Rugby Fan Base – led by Marketing, Communications and Digital Director Joanna Manning-Cooper
